Chamber Paintings

Introduction

The 24 Chamber Paintings in this section are from the Ancient Arrow site. There are two ways to view the Chamber art of the Ancient Arrow site. First, you can view them if you click on any of the numbered chambers below in the Painting Navigator. Secondly, the Chamber Paintings are organized in groups of four "galleries". You may click on any one of the four galleries and view a collection. Once a gallery page displays in your browser, you can click on any of the small images and a larger version of that particular image will display.

There is a featured Chamber Painting each month that can be downloaded at high resolution and is very suitable for printing. Chamber 24 is featured this month. You can also download a featured compilation painting that is composed of various elements from the WingMakers' Chamber Paintings. This month's feature is Habitat of Soul.

The paintings were produced on a stone substrate. They are not painted -- there are no visible brush strokes. It's not known for certain how the paint was applied. The jewel-tone colors are incredibly brilliant and the detail contained within these paintings is not adequately portrayed in these jpeg images. Individual reproduction images, as well as collections, can be obtained in the Product section of the website. This is the best way to experience the detail and color brilliance of these paintings.
